About Carlos Warter MD

Dr. Warter’s life has been dedicated to empowering the sacred into health and medicine. He’s been teaching seminars globally for over 40 years which combine the wisdom of ancient spiritual practices with modern day science, medicine and techniques. He is a spiritual mentor for those seeking self discovery and inner work.

Carlos Warter is the founder and president of the World Heath Foundation for Development of Peace, and received the United Nations General Assembly Peace Messenger Award in 1987.

He's written and published over 26 books in five different languages and is widely recognized as a leading expert in self-discovery and self-realization work by weaving Western medicine with spirituality and consciousness as a means to advance inner work and awaken global consciousness.

Dr. Warter has lectured extensively around the world on peace, mediation, mindfulness, spiritual values for change, human relations, psychotherapy, and global consciousness. He has participated in conferences with colleagues such as Ram Dass, Deepak Chopra, and Jack Canfield. He has been received by His Holiness Pope Jean Paul II in June 1986 and 1997 and has been a guest in Dharamsala, India of His Holiness the Dalai Lama on several occasions. He maintains excellent relationships with spiritual leaders around the world of wide and varied denominations and faiths.

Carlos, and his wife Carolina Penna-Warter (parents of four children), reside on a small farm in Southern California where he does acrylic painting, writes, treats patients and conducts retreats on Spiritual Realism.
